“We have a house in Myrtle Bank which is a typical 70 year old freestone bungalow with freestone verandah wall and pillars, all of which were showing signs of wear and tear with some major deterioration due to salt damp and fretting stone.
The Stoneideas team began with a most amazing cleaning job of the ageing stone, removing years of accumulated dirt and mould. As work progressed, safety measures were always put in place to prevent accidents while work was unattended. They were meticulously careful with the choice and placement of replacement stones and took great care in choosing a matching colour for the mortar. The re-pointing work was excellent and the final touch with the black line was a work of art – a very steady hand was required and achieved with great skill and patience.
All in all, we are extremely happy with the look of our renovated stonework and the work completed by Stoneideas. Our recommendation comes without hesitation and we wish them all the best.”
